Rothgard Business Model
Rothgard set out to understand more clearly the components that made
up the Business paradigm. Using a 'think tank' approach, Rothgard
created the TRANSACT™ Rothgard Business Model (RBM). The
RBM identifies the major structural entities listed against business,
statutory and technical components.
TRANSACT™ Business
Methodology
Working outwards from the Business model Rothgard has developed
a four-stage methodology designed to address the Business requirements
of an organisation. The methodology is scaleable and able to
address businesses with modest turnover as well as larger corporates.
Each of the
following stages commences with a Project Execution Plan (PEP).
The PEP establishes the scope of the project, sets
the timeframe, identifies the resources required and defines the
deliverables. There may be a number of PEP's required for a given
Business program.
Stage
One - Rothgard TRANSACT™ BPG - Business Profile
and Goals
Stage One captures enterprise locations, functions, key personnel,
anticipated growth, core competencies, key clients and key suppliers
and identifies the goals and future direction of the business.
Stage Two - Rothgard TRANSACT™ BAA
- Business Audit and Assessment
Stage Two details the BPG and includes an inventory audit, personnel
audit and function statements, dependencies, management flow, process
flows and policy statements, including change management policy.
Stage Three - Rothgard TRANSACT™ RBM
- Rothgard Business Model
Stage Three is a detailed model of the business and technical components
required, providing diagrams and a breakdown of the components
needed to achieve a Business system.
Stage Four - Rothgard TRANSACT™ RP
Business Plan
Stage Four takes output from the BPG, BAA and RBM and identifies
the mix of technical and business components required to address
the needs of the business. It identifies and defines the types;
size and numbers of individual projects required and is the blueprint
for the Business Program roll out.
